The Fishbone wines are sourced from premium fruit from the south west of Western Australia including Margaret River, Pemberton, Manjimup and the estate vineyard in the Blackwood Valley. Conveniently situated in the centre of Nannup, Blackwood Wines features a winery, restaurant and fine art, complimented by a beautifully landscaped garden. Nannup is a small, picturesque town, situated in the heart of the South West of Western Australia. It nestles among rolling green hills, bordered by the Blackwood River and is surrounded by farmland and jarrah forest.
The modern Fishbone label, with its costal theme, reflects the rugged and beautiful South West Australian region, also high-lights the unique wine styles which put it at the forefront of Australian premium wine production.
The double blue gold / Top 100 award at the 2006 Sydney International Wine Competition for the 2005 Fishbone Semillon Chenin Blanc Chardonnay placed the wine in the top 5% of the 2000 strong entries from 12 countries, strengthening the winery’s position as a quality small producer.
